depends on what you do with the car at end of lease. cos never keep a car over 12 months or so. but most ppl keep their cars longer. if you lease for 36 months and at end of the term buy it out with cash, you total cashout is about the same as 60 month financed. but with 36months lease, you have write off, you have smaller pmt for 36 months... (all assuming you have cash to buy out lease at 37th months and you are keeping the car for a bit after that).

if one leases long term in order to afford the car, you will surely be upside down when it comes time to sell.

I've driven both the CS and the S2000. Both are fun. S2000 is an awesome car for the price. Cayman S is the better car. It's up to you if it is worth the price difference.
