Default Come socialize! Chesapeake Region Drive & Dine Tour, Thurs, July 13 at 5:30pm

(Steve Kinsley of our region asked me to post this here on Rennlist.)

Steve Kinsley and the Chesapeake region of PCA would like to invite everyone to join the club for a tour to Friendly Farm in Upperco, MD on Thursday, July 13 at 5:30pm. The restaurant is off Mt. Carmel Road in northern Baltimore County, not far from I-83, and serves a variety of delicious entrees, from filet mignon to fried chicken to crab cakes to ham. Everyone is served family-style, meaning we pass around large bowls of fresh vegetables and rolls, and usually finish with home-made ice cream and pies. The heavy-duty suspension on the Cayennes will get a workout on the way home! Is your Porsche not ready or don't have one yet? That's okay; we encourage other marques! (The region has been there before when Stuart Fine led the way about two or three years ago.)

Everyone will meet at the Holiday Inn Timonium parking lot, the same as this past Challenge, at 5:30, planning to leave at 6:00 pm sharp. The days are still long, and we will drive through two reservoir areas, scenic areas and some of the best damn driving roads around. Schedule in a leisurely 45 minute drive, arriving at the restaurant around 6:45. You can choose your meal and pre-pay when you enter, then be seated and socialize. Check the website at http://friendlyfarm.net/ for an idea of prices and atmosphere, but we’re sure you won’t be disappointed. Check the club website (www.pcachs.org) for details and any last-minute changes.

Steve is also working on a second drive and dine, and of course there will be an August pilgrimage to the Arctic Circle in Churchville.

Questions? Email Steve at stevekinsley at comcast.net or call him at 410-866-7560.

See you on the 13th!
