Thanks for the feedback. Okay, now I feel naive. I was told by a salesman at Champion Porsche in Pampano, FL that they worked with H&R to develop a Cayman-specific spring for the car that they can install on a new Cayman S. Supposedly, the spring rate was chosen to match the shock dampening.

I tried Tirerack.com, but only the Eibach's came back. Not sure how they compare to the H&R's.

springs are springs, no difference as long as they are from reputable company.
i dont rmember which, but b/n HR and eibach, one lowers the car more than the other.

Don't do just springs. I will bw installing PSS9s on my 987 soon and they should do quite well. Mostly suited for the street, but they will see the occasional track day.

I don't think spring-only solution will work well on the CS. Looking at the attached picture taken at, I believe, T4 of VIR, the suspension is quite compressed and probably very close to the bump stops. The H&R or Eobach springs only add about 15-20% rate and lower above 2" I believe. If that is correct, it is likely you will hit bump stops more often than not. However, it is just a speculation looking at a picture, I have not tested this.

I drive the snot out of my Cayman S at several tracks, some quite bumpy and have never hit the bumpstops with the H&R springs.

pstoppani, where did you buy your H&R's?

How much should I expect to pay?

Thanks!

Sorry , I don't have the info. Shop around and you'll get a good feel for a good price. note however that its a good 4 to 6 hours of labor to install them.
