I agree with (autobahnNY)...The blacked-out side vents look a lot better, and if the decal were to be taken off the windscreen, it would be a done deal. Overall, the car is gorgeous.

I don't know about you guys, but a tricked out Cayman is one bad-*** looking car, IMHO the best looking car in the Porsche marque next to the Carrera GT. The gently sloping roof line along with the flared hips is what does it for me.
After seeing this car, a 997 appears lame.

I think it all depends on the car and your taste. There are some very nice looking "tuned" 997 in the ads in Excellence. Not to mention not all the modified. Caymans are attractive. Take the 9ff thing...the wheels are just hideous and the fog light treatment is like something directly out of the Fast and the Furious (it just needs some nitrous stickers). Another example of a car gone wrong is the Cayman GTR. While I like the 3.8 engine swap, why make the front end look like a 997?
Even though my taste generally lean towards understated modification, I do like this car very much. But, I admit you have to be looking for the race car look. I am not sure I would want the wing on it for daily driving duties but it definitely has the look of a race car that one could see competing in DTM or ALMS. It will be interesting to see when and if Porsche releases an aero kit for the Cayman. Generally I really like the Porsche aero kits.

That car will pull 80% of 997GT3 buyers
That car is squarely directected at someone who is in the market for GT3 - prior owner or and RS owner.
It aint directed at a daily driver ... perhaps a daily poser.
