Default Cayman in which SCCA autox class?

I just registered for an SCCA autox. I've not read what class the stock Cayman is in, but I registered in Super Stock (SS). SS is where the 987 Boxster S and the 997 are, so I just can't imagine that the Cayman would go anywhere else. But just to confirm, do any of you know for sure? Thanks.

It's in Super Stock, as per the recent February Addendum FasTrack published by the SCCA.

Is the 997S also in that class?

Post a new thread and maybe Drew will know you asked. I didn't see the 997S listed with the Cayman in the Fastrack Feb addendum Drew mentioned, and I didn't see it in SS in the old list I have, which placed the 997 in SS, but no mention of the 997S. The GT3 is also in SS, along with the 987 Boxster S. Maybe the 997S is so potent stock that it's placed in ASP along with the GT2.

If a production car is not explicitly excluded, then it goes to SS.

996/997/997S/CaymanS/987S are all in SS.

All the AWD 911 Turbos are excluded from the stock classes.

Only a minor problem with the 997S in SS. The car has to run on 19" wheels, because 18" are not available as a factory option. Not that many tire choices on 19" for serious Solo2.

The GT3 was excluded from SS on 2004, removed from the exclusion list for 2005, and there were unsuccesful attempts to remove it again for 2006.

Trivia: guess what will hapen to the 997 GT3?
