Sebring PBOC Last Weekend in Cayman S
Had a ball driving the Cayman at Sebring. The lap times were in the 2:35 range. The Cermic brakes are great. The car feels like it stops almost as good as our 05 GT3 Cup. We had a 05 Boxster S with steel brakes and it did no stop near as good. The breaks help the confidence. The Cayman did not do anything unexpected and is much more predictable than the 911's I have driven. Great car on the track and the street.

PHP Code:
What are normally good times for that track? What times are you turning in your gt3?
PHP Code:
PCA website shows 2:10 for a fast time for 05 GT3 Cup
Couldn't find any boxsters, but an E class 944 turbo will be around 2:30, F around 2:32-35

PASM or standard suspension?
I am having trouble uploading photos. I'm still a rookey. I will keep trying.
Thanks!

H&R lists non-PASM lowering springs on their site. Don't know if they actually exist.

I'm sure there will be a variety of coilovers from H&R and Bilstein (and others) for the non-PASM cars (including 987 and 997). It's only difficult to fit coilovers to the PASM cars, due to all the electronics being integrated. I'd consider adjustable camber plates also, as someone recently had a "track" alignment attempted on their 987 and they could only achieve -.5 degrees of camber in front...

my cayman has non pasm.
still at my mechanic's. but i got msg from him, we got 1.3 deg neg camber up front. more on back. everything is stock, ride ht obviously. dont know what he did to it. but 1.3 with street tires, i think i'll be fine.
if HR, bilstein or orbit figure out what to do to put coil overs on, let's keep each other posted. i spoke with lex at moton. nothing yet.
