I just picked up my new boxster and had a question about the CD player. When I'm searching for a track, the number does not show on the display until the music starts. Is this normbal?

mine does the same thing, I am not sure if it is normal. Also with mine, if I start the car with it on and turn the volume **** before the CD is finished loading it locks up until I eject and reinsert. I hope yours isnt' as quirky as mine is. At least it sounds alright! Good luck with yoru new car

 

Sorry to say, but mine is exactly like yours. I'm not sure if I want to take it in to have it looked at. I've had bad experiences with my previous cars with things like this. They end up screwing up the car even more.
