I'm 6-4 and 235lbs. but I can reasonably fit in a Boxster S. Has anyone with similar dimensions tried to sit in a Cayman S? Someone told me the cayman might actually have more headroom compared to boxster with top up.

A recent reporter wrote in an article that one can wear a helmet on top of a helmet in the Cayman. That's probably a stretch, but I think he means to convey that there's plenty of head room. He didn't say how tall he was though.

I too read an article where the reporter said he had room on the top of his helmet when driving the Cayman.

So, I would think you will fit, but perhaps not with a helmet on...

I am 6' 3'' and 225. i drove a boxter s on Monday and I did not have enough leg room. Last night in Danbury CT I sat in a Cayman S and it was too short for my legs. A friend with same dimensions but shorter legs fit comfortably. It is going to be about leg length for drivers over 5' 10''. It sure is a nice looking car! I will post pics this weekend of Cayman S getting a 3.8 cup engine istalled=that will be a monster!

Ive just sat in a Cayman and it was way too small for me, to be honest it felt like i was in a kids car . Im 6'4 and a big build but how any1 6'3 or over can drive a Boxster or Cayman is beyond me .
Sitting in a Boxster after my head was sticking out with the roof down ,i must of looked like a right numpty !

I sat in Cayman today and it seems about the same as the non sunroof 996. I think with my helmet on would just touch the top. I'm 6'2".
