I wouldn't characterize the sound made by the 987 as noise. To me it's music. Noise is the sound made by some car with a hole in the muffler or tail pipe or by one of those after market stove pipe exhaust systems. To me a large part of the sports car driving experience is listening to the engine sounds.Apparently Porsche agrees since they spend millions of dollars designing exhaust systems to meet their very exacting requirements.
