Default Elusive dark blue Cayman S escapes my Camera twice in a row! (in Weissach)

First I see the thing getting loaded on a flatbed outside the factory museum - I run to get my camera, and it's gone by the time I get back!

Later in the day, I head out to Weissach, and spot it coming head on! Too late to turn around an snap a photo!

And to only just tease me even more.. I see another one in the parking lot at Weissach - and just as I'm about to snap a photo, a kindly german security guard approaches me with a very serious look on his face saying something like "Der photos ist verboten!"

Dammit!!!

Here is the picture you missed. Taken at the Factory three weeks ago - in this case the driver slowed down as he saw me lift my camera and helped me take the shot.

This one is in Cobalt Blue Metallic.

Wow, it looks great in that colour. I thought they would only look good in silver or white.

Lightbulb Cobalt Blue

At the Frankfort show they had one of these on the floor for folks to fingerprint - along with the GT Silver one on the rotating stand. You can see some of this on the Porsche web site. Look for news of "IAA". I have this same color on my 968. It has a touch of purple in it. Interesting to note this color is a $3000 option on the Cayman S.

But then again it's only $money$ !
