Hey I think the 987 is worth the difference just for the headlight styling. Just like the 997 now it does look like a Porsche is supposed to look.
And BTW I think it handles better too. If you can't tell the difference after driving than I would guess it shouldn't matter too you. Then you're left with the styling.

Thanks folks.I am finding little to argue against the 987, and am will probably go for one.One thing you havnt mentioned is the lack of spare wheel on the new generation of cars.I understand from my tyre shop that a puncture cant be repaired after using an aerosol filler to get you home.So that would mean 2 new tyres for a measly nail in the tread!
