Default XM/Sirius and the new Boxster
Am I right in assuming that sat radio is not a factory option, yet? Anyone think it will be for the 2006 models?

No, you cannot get it on the new boxster.
None of the porsche models have it right now and I'm not sure that they'd change the entire radio system so close to the remodel. Aftermarket is probably your best bet unfortunately.

It is only available in the Cayenne (factory install) at this time. There are talking about brining it out in 06.

Maybe to those that don't drive a lot, or don't enjoy commercial free music.

For those of us that do... Sirius is a godsend, and well worth the $12.95 per month additional on our Porsche Bills.
