Hi everyone first time poster, I have a 987.2 with a PDK and have a bit of a stumble/shudder on takeoff and coming to a stop, my local Porsche specialist recommended doing a calibration, has anyone here had that done, and did it help?

I'd watch this before doing one and recommend agaist it initially -
I've had mine apart so I know some of the issues from the gearbox end, not so much the clutch end which I would think might be more your issue.
I would try to find an automatic gearbox specialist in your area to see what the think before you think about anything like a calibration.

A simple throttle body reset may help as the throttle and gearbox will be back in sync. Originally Posted by wwinton

Throttle Reset
Turn the ignition to the ‘on’ position but the engine not started, for one minute. Then cycle the ignition off and back on again. Leave it on for 30 seconds. The throttle body can be heard resetting. After this turn it back off and start the car.
Thanks guys, I have been watching those YouTube videos for a while now, I am also in Australia where Jeff is located. I will try the throttle body reset and see if that helps first.
This does sound more like air into the engine issue than a transmission issue. You may want to check for vacuum leaks along the inlet path as well.
If you want the softest and safest version of transmission relearning, you can try the "torque loss adaptation". You're going to read this and think I'm crazy, because it sounds like shaking a dead chicken voodoo, but I and others certainly noticed a difference is the smoothness of shifting/engagement afterwards. No PIWIS or fancy software required:Conditions/procedure for engine torque loss adaptation:
• Engine temperature is at least 176° F. (80° C.)
• All loads switched off.
• PDK selector lever in position P.
• Allow engine to run at idle speed for 3 minutes with air conditioning switched off.
• Then allow engine to run at idle speed for 3 minutes with air conditioning switched on.
• Switch off ignition and wait 15 seconds (adaptation values are stored).
