I was atempting to fill/flush my coolant yesterday and followed those instructions and even another trick of raising the rear of the car so the filler is well above any air lock location. Well, after 35 litres/8 gallons of distilled water, a lot on the floor/boot, it still won't blow hot through the heater so I know it's air locked. Time for a vac filler i think.

The high pitched squeak be likely coming from behind the cover behind the seats. Mine is making a similar noise and it's definately the top/centre power steering pully, I will remove the belt for a short while to check if the noise stops ( as recomended in other treads here), and see if theres any play in the pully. I've just changed the water pump and theres theres the belt tensioner that is also a contender but you'll get a good idea running with the cover off, gl

My annoying squeak not from engine....only occurs with car moving, only on non-smooth roads. On smooth roads any irregularity in surface causes it.

Took car to shop, we removed engine cover, and I liberally sprayed both internal and external edges with silicone spray.

It did nothing.

Calling dealer today.

Could the chirp noise be from the rubber contact points on the rear hatch? Mine squeaked going over bumps and I had to adjust those rubber pieces on the hatch to stop the squeaking.

Mine not coming from engine. Noise absent when car isn't moving. Often absent when it is moving. Only present about 50% of time when car is moving.

Doubt it. Noise was never there before car was serviced. Sound is very distinct & sharp behind my head when driving. Sounds like from carpet & foam engine cover, but that is all soft material that I also well-sprayed with silicone.
