2008 Cayman S Sport

The initial problem was the driver's window would drop, then go back up when the door was open. I changed out the door lock mechanism that contained the window relay. Problem solved - the window stays down until the door is closed, then window goes up.

But...

Now when I try to lock the car with the fob or key, it beeps 2 times. The driver's door locks, but the passenger door doesn't. The gas door locks and doesn't unlock when the car is unlocked. I have to pull the chord to gas up. The lock seemed a bit stiff so I tore the door card off again and shot it with some silicon spray. That seemed to loosen it up but didn't fix the beep beep problem.

Does the new mechanism need to be sync'd / calibrated with the locking system some way?
Is there something not connected properly?
Should I pull the relay from the new mechanism and put it in the old mechanism?
