Default Really stupid question

Long story short.
blew the 2.4 at the track. Rod failure and bore scoring found on disassembly .
doing ls3 swap.

i can’t find where the battery+ enters the engine compartment.
i know it was there at the top when i removed old motor but can’t for the life of me find it now.

shifter cables come in through the bottom of the rear firewall just below the access from the passenger compartment.

i cant find anything entering the engine bay from under or from the passenger compartment.

i feel like I'm missing something very obvious. its driving me crazy..

On a 987 it's a big black cable that comes out directly below the shifter cables you can see pics here (or in many other places if you would just google it): https://www.design911.com/uploads/pd...de_NUMERIC.pdf

Does it run to a distribution block, that also sends a cable to the alternator? That's up at the top of the engine bay, right near the firewall.

Cheers
