I had the drivers side window drop issue ( window not moving to seal on door closing). I fixed that by replacing the regulator assembly. All good. I didn't realize that the power mirrors stopped working and the 'puddle' light didn't have power. The car is basically a track car for the majority of the year, so those issues were put to the end of the list.
The Holidays provide an opportunity to take a look at the issue and I decided to swap the control box on the regulator since is appears to serve as a power distribution point. I swapped the black box ( see picture ) and the mirrors started working, the puddle light works but the window has the drop issue. I assumed it was a mechanical issue with the regulator motor. It seems it the controller. Does anyone have experience with this situation? Can you buy a new controller?
