Airbag issues
I have a ‘07 CS that was involved in a collision (no airbags went off it was pretty minor). To complete the repairs I had to remove passenger interior, including seat and door. However I have the airbag light on, upon starting the ignition the light flashes once then stays on, with the below codes that a local garage has read for me;
8003 passenger head airbag upper limit
8004 passenger thorax airbag upper limit
8033 passenger head airbag lower limit
Everything is plugged in correctly with no bent pins (I’ve double checked)
One of my theories is that whilst the airbags were disconnected I did reconnect the battery to move the vehicle, this could’ve stored the error.
is there a free way of resetting this to see if it’ll come back, or will the use of a icarsoft be required?
or is there something more serious involved with the car being involved in a bump?
