Default HOW TO: PDK Sensor Replacement (987.2)

I thought I'd leave a link to this video we recorded of a PDK shaft position sensor replacement we recently did on a 987.2

Hope someone finds it useful. If someone has any doubts feel free to contact me.

You might like to present in digestible form - with conventionally orientated video?
12 year olds on TikTok possibly are not your target audience?
You might also like to reference 'distance sensor' or similar, as in my brief view, that appears to be the subject?

Good luck!

Well noted that. However, we are a car service center and not a film studio. Furthermore customers are always in a hurry to get the car back, so we can’t afford to lose their time making videos. We did what we could with what we had.

However I think that the important thing other than the orientation of the video, is that I showed several steps which nobody else has shown in video for this repair.

Thanks!

No serious hardware or time is needed to make watchable?
Merely hold your device in the correct orientation?
Not sure myself, as video indeed takes too much time as you note...

No, but we are in Thailand not US… over here YouTube is not the main platform.

TikTok/Reels/Facebook are… And I don’t have time to record twice both vertical and horizontal LOL.

The video is free, I’m not asking for money nor plan to monetize it ever. If anyone needs to see either of the steps I showed in the video I guess they can put up with orientation issue

Nevertheless I will try to come up with a solution.

Agreed!
There is a specific distance sensor thread you may find here accordingly?
If you're not planning on monetizing, then any obscure video hosting site should suffice for just one version then, and you can refer the needy folk to that... Easy!
I had my distance sensor replaced, and took no video and had just a few photographs, so anything more is of benefit to all for sure.

Apologies too for sounding harsh, as I just reread my first reply and am embarrassed how negative it sounds.
By the way, I am in Japan not the US either...
