What oil pressure logging options are available for a 2006 Boxster S? I understand that these engines do not come with an oil pressure sensor, so I know that I need a sensor, as well as a system for logging the sensor data. The purpose is to log oil pressure during light track days and autocross.

What are my options? Do I need to go through the DME and its CAN bus, or is there a data logger that would take the raw sensor data?
