I did a search since my impression is that many Boxsters have roof issues, I was surprised i did not find a DIY to replace components and synch the Left and Right transmissions.
Did I miss it?
Mine needs a right side transmission and a few clevis arms and caps.

you'll want to refer to the Cayman/Boxster factory repair manual that can be found online, in the pdf called "convertible top" starting on page 12
