987.2 CB change to red S brake calipers?
What can I say? I'm a sucker for red calipers.
If I were to upgrade to true S calipers, what considerations are there?
I understand the rotor diameters are the same, but the rears are be slightly thicker. So I'd need proper S rear rotors. Straight swap? (Seems like the next time it needs new rear rotors would be a logical time to do something like this.)
Anything else?
Do many people upgrade their S calipers to Brembos or similar? I think I've yet to see red S calipers on the marketplace.
Or would ya just paint the gray ones red and find some white PORSCHE caliper stickers? (Or is that sacrilege?)
(I painted my miata calipers red, and it's a fairly easy job with the right kit.)
