Default 987 Mileage Concerns

Hey all- Gonna be looking sometime next year for a 987. It will be a part time driver so I don't mind looking at higher mileage cars. Is there a threshold where the maintenance
costs take a big jump? 75k? 100k? Will probably look for a 987.2, but when does the age affect the IMS bearing on the 987.1 cars? Thanks

2008 987.1 Base 2.7 with 103K miles. Daily driver. Other than scheduled maintenance we've replaced a few minor things (starter, AOS), but nothing unusual.

It’s a Porsche, maintenance and parts will always be expensive.

Mileage limitations are more about your desires and how much you want to pay upfront. My 05 has 115k and it’s got some rattles and various cosmetic imperfections, but still a great weekend driver.

Right after the warranty runs out.
