You have earned lots of respect for taking on this project and wrenching yourself. Although I have never had a blown engine after 22 years of Porsche ownership, I know that someday it may be a possibility. Time constraints for me is what keeps me from doing my own clutch jobs or other time consuming maintenance, but I enjoy wrenching on cars very much.
One little tip/trick is that if you are going to be working on the top of a boxster engine a lot, I recommend removing the rear trunk lid so that you do not dent it by accident. Then just sit inside the trunk and work from there. Keep up the good work

I started the engine today about 10sek just to test before bolting on the rest of parts…
hopefully I will have it running tomorrow for some minutes!

Default Down on the ground again

This afternoon after work I finished assembling the car and placed it down at the garage floor for first time since long…
the cars starts well and gears/clutch works well, maybe I can make a shirt run tomorrow at the neighbourhood…

Now car ready for first journey. I will make a +2000km round trip driving up through Spain up to the north then we will go down making whole Portugal cost down to southern Spain again, and back with the 1800km ferry trip to our little island again.

Nothing I like, The LS engines sounds like old truck/boat engines to me, have nothing to do with a high redwing race engine.
