Default Broken Joint Flange PDK 987.2

Dear Friends,

where can I find Joint Flange and if it is possible to get the part number from your experience?

Attached is the broken Joint Flange from my Cayman 2009 PDK

According to parts diagram, available as 9G2.332.029.05 if you have an open differential, 9G2.332.029.25 if you have a limited slip. However, you have a concern about metal debris left inside the transmission.

Hi Kevin,

thank you for your information, is there any equivalent from other than genuine part (after market), as I understand it is discontinued from the Porsche.

i could be wrong, and often am, but it looks like an axle shaft that is broken, not the flange. if so, this might get you started....
Porsche 987 Boxster Cayman Drive shaft 98733202461 - 98733202461 | Design 911

or if i AM wrong, maybe this...
Porsche 987 Boxster Joint flange 98733220900 - 98733220900 | Design 911

whatever the case, i suspect the OEM part is still available.

I don't know anyone disassembling PDKs, given they cannot be serviced in the field (as far as I am aware). However, per my earlier note, you really need to be concerned about other damage and debris inside the transmission. There's more that's needed than an output shaft. For a second opinion, give California Motorsports a call. Good luck with this.

Thank you for your reply, yes I changed the Joint Flange already and it happened to me that there is oil leak after that (Gearbox Oil), I take it back to the garage and they are checking It again and I will keep you updated. Sounds like a serious problem in PDK and I will clarify that after a week from now.
