Default DIY content coming soon...

Some of you might know me for my DIY videos of my 986 Boxster. There is a lot of crossover, but I just picked up a 2006 Cayman S 987.1, so if you haven't discovered the channel yet, here's a preview of the car that will be bringing lots more DIY content:

I'm sure you may b on this but if the current oil has miles on it , I would change pronto and while doing so pull a UOS for analysis, pull your sump and scope cylinders, in addition to filter inspection. Just a blueish smokey observation.
I have an 07CS 6spd and have DIY'ed it in the 6 years I have owned it. Im 61 and have no desire to get rid of this gem. 43K mi on car; purchased at 23K. To list a few maintenance items: Water pump change, AOS, pullies, main belt at 23.5K, Numeric shift cables (replace probmatic originals, Head liner replacement, Use Driven DT40 5W40 w spin on NAPA 1042 on all 5K oil changes and pull UOS on all. Healthy motor shown by Low element ppm's. Coils n plugs changed at 30K due to age, plugs looked good but every coil had multiple cracks .Installed Fabspeed Deluxe X pipes replacing stock tips. Replaced rotors, pads and brake fluid at 40k. New Micheline PS4S rubber w TPMS's replaced. Zunsport radiator protactors, Bypassed clutch interlock switch and just replaced starter.
Working on the car really connects all the dots for me as a Porsche owner.

Excited you are doing this. The best to you with your CS and new channel!!

Thank you! Yes, I'll definitely be pulling the sump soon and investigating. It supposedly just had an oil change but it still must be done I'll also be doing the AOS. Water pump and headliner already recently replaced.

+1 on that exhaust. Holy smokes. No pun intended.
Looking forward to more, as I've said before, I really enjoy your 986 videos.
Cheers
