I use them and like them for working on my Boxster. You'll need a low clearance jack and mind the type of jack stands recommended (cradle type). The bars are heavy but work exactly as shown. I use a Harbor Freight jack with I believe about 3 1/2"? min height and 4 Torin Big Red 2 ton jack stands for my purposes. Quick Jacks look cool. I just don't have the storage space or patience for another device in the garage. Liftbars hit the sweet spot for me.
I lift whole side of car, insert jack stands... lower and do other side. If I'm going higher than a relatively low stand height, I alternate so as not to be angling the car too much side-to-side during the lifting process. I'm super careful that way. I know the car will be solid when I'm done, I just don't want to slide it off of the stands in the process by being impatient.
No commercial interest, just a happy customer.
This is an example of a pretty typical oil change position for me.
Thanks Zach. I used to use the Harbor Freight ones...but they were recalled. I bought these for everything else I do and didn't even think to check. So far no issues, but thanks for the excuse to go get some new stands (I think I can just get the "u" bracket for these).
I have a set, super-handy. With a Spyder I need low ramps though to use my jack. I did buy a quickjack on one of the sales though - as much as I like the liftbars, just got too tempted.

Thanks, I was wondering about that... would apply to Cayman R models or anyone with lowered suspension I assume too. Are you using a low-pro jack? If so, which brand/model?
BTW, I went over to RideNow on I-35 today to look at some bikes. Considering an MT-07, but they had a Duke 990 that was calling my name. How do you like yours?

Although vey different form the Duke, I have the KTM 990 Adventure. I really like it, but I would compare it to Porsche ownership. Just different enough from other bikes to make it need a little more maintenance and specialized fluids. But I do really like that motor.
