Default New key fob body help!

Hi, my current key fob is pretty beat up and falling apart (one of my buttons just fell out). So, I bought a new case and I moved everything from the old to the new. But I can't get the transponder out of the old case. I tried using a tiny screw
driver and then a toothpick to get it out. It won't budge. I don't want to use to much pressure and risk damaging the unit. My next option is cutting it out with my Dremel ,not really a problem, but does does anyone have a gentler solution that will get this unit out?

I think I used a small blade to cut it out. The old key shell innards were toast when I was done.

There's no way of doing it without butchering the plastics surrounding it. Thankfully it's just a box-shaped piece of plastic with no protruding wires, so as long as you don't actively cut into the transponder itself, just hack away until it comes loose.

That's kinda what i figured. Where there's a will there's a way...
I'll use rubber cement to attach the chip in my new case so it's not permanent.
