Hello guys! I've been daily driving my midnight blue metallic 987.1 cayman S for about 4 months now. I love the thing to death, I only have one complaint: As a 17 year old boy, I have the constant urge to make my car obnoxiously loud, but my cayman didn't come with the Porsche sport exhaust. Theoretically, how hard would it be for me to get and install a used sport exhaust from another 987? And how much would that set me back? I can't seem to find them anywhere and don't really know where to look. The car does have sport chrono if that matters. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure original PSE are either cheap or that available as 2nd hand offerings.
Carnewal mods to the original exhaust are a popular option in Europe, see here
This involves modifying your original exhaust or receiving a 2nd hand unit in exchange for yours. I think essentially they remove some of the baffles from the back box to give it more "grunt" re the sound whilst maintaining a stock look to the exhaust itself.

Looks like these guys offer the Carnewal mod in the US, there are some videos which capture the sound difference.

Awesome! I'll keep that in mind. I'd like to keep as many of the parts on it stock/factory as possible (for when I inevitably have to sell it), but if that's not a possibility this would be amazing. I've heard soul has a good kit as well, but they cost a good chunk of change 😬

I have the Fabspeed Maxflo performance exhaust on my 06 Boxster. It's another solid option.
