Default 987.1 Exhaust Rattle After New Exhaust

Evening all,
Short version, regrettably decided to put a cat back exhaust on my self, 5 of the 6 exhaust flange nuts sheared , the remaining portions of the bolts needed to be hammered out. That being said...
When the car warms up there is a rattling noise from the drivers side. Put it up on stands running and its coming from the driver side header, after it cooled down I checked torques and they were all good. Odd part is my driver side has a small heat shield that could be the culprit, but the passenger side doesnt have one. Is that normal? Any issues with me trying to take it off?

Thanks!
Mark

You should have a similar shield on both sides.
Hopefully the rattle isn't the cat breaking apart in the header? Did you have to bang on the flange much to get things sorted?

yes, there was quite a bit of banging on the flange to get the sheared bolts out
