PIWIS to enable oil gauges
I just got a used 997.2 instrument cluster and installed it in my 987.2 Cayman. I found that the odometer mileage travels with the daughter board in the cluster but also unfortunately it seems like the code to control the oil pressure and oil temp gauges does too. So I can have an incorrect odometer with working gauges, or a correct odometer without the gauges.
I was hoping someone might know if I can use the PIWIS to code the cluster to enable the two oil gauges? If so, then I’ll buy a PIWIS and try it. I have a Durametric but it doesn’t seem to have this functionality.
