Default 2009 Cayman PDK base

Hey guys I recently purchased the car and I'm going to be installing a soul valved muffler system tomorrow but I was wondering if I wanted more power would it be best to do the ECU tune or the plenum and throttle body? They both cost about the same price but was wondering which one would make a bigger impact.

Congratulations on your 987.2

So I gotta ask.... What was your previous car?

It's actually my second vehicle to replace my motorcycle that I had an accident with an almost died so I replaced speed with precision and I love it but I wouldn't mind getting a little bit more out of it if possible.

ECU tune is good for about 10hp from the sounds of it. Plenum and TB by themselves are unlikely to have any benefit.

i've had the opportunity to drive the 987.1 2.7l and the 987.2 2.9l and i could not notice any difference at all in performance although the 987.2 had all kinds of aftermarket performance modifications done to it and porsche claims it has about 20 more HP. ...undetectable IME.
