I changed my engine mount and had to drain the coolant. Now I am having problems refilling the coolant. I bought a vacuum refill kit but can not get any vacuum in the system. The kit is working when tested on my hand it is applying suction. What am I missing ?

Try it from the coolant tank (under the engine cover). The tank cap is a pressure release valve, not sure but it also may be a vacuum break as well.
I had to do it at the coolant tank on mine as well when I added a third radiator and changed out the water pump. I believe I found a good article on the Pelican parts website about the procedure for purging the air which involved running the car for periods of time and making sure the coolant tank stays full so as to not draw any air back in. Best of luck with it.
The AirLift tool is a very good option. I believe Pelican sells it, but there are a lot of places to pick one up. Also nice to have a tool that tests whether the system holds vacuum.
