any hints on removing lower front bumper trim on a 2009 Cayman S 987.2

Can you post a picture of exactly what you want to remove? I think I'm going to tell you there are both some snap in connectors which you remove from below, and adhesive (which you loosen with a heat gun).

Three "push pins" from underneath then double sided tape. The thread you started on 10/27 has the pictures.
