Started happening to my 987.2 Spyder a little while ago. Sound would just go out from radio, CD, phone etc. and would come back on sometime later at random. Sometime 5 minutes later, sometimes 30. Head unit always kept working with power, just no sound. I found this from someone else that had the same or similar issue and low and behold - it worked!

I ordered the part off of eBay from China. It was the only place where I found one for sale to buy in a small quantity of 1. Came after about 4 weeks, put it in last night and everything worked, saving about $370 for a new amplifier. It was a pain in the but desoldering the old one to get it off, but I just wanted to post incase it ever happens to anyone else to help out.
