Putting on new coil overs have the gt3 lower front control arms and H&M’s front and rear sway bars. Looking for a good track setup as it relates to track use anyone have a suggestion for Alignment specs on a 2009 987.2 cayman s

I too have a '09 CS set up for the track. Mods include:
- GT3 LCA
- AST camber/caster plates
- Tarret swaybars on softest settings
- Moton Clubsports: Typically 3 clicks compression, 9 clicks rebound (track dependent)

- Springs: 750lbs front/850lbs rear
- I run RE-71R's (255-35-18 front and 275-35-18 rear) on CCW Classic @ 18x8.5/18x10
- 3250 lbs with me in her

Here are my specs.

Cheers!

I've got an 09 base Cayman with Ohlins Road and Track plus sway bars on 2nd to softest, camber plates, and GT3 arms, I'm currently an alignment very close to your "before" except with a little less rear toe. I just finished a set of Hankook R-S4, and am going to take a little camber out, to just about where your "after" are. I only drive on track plus highway to/from the track and I'm wearing just a little more on the inner edge. Also run 35 hot and thinking of dropping a little as I am very slightly wearing out the centers a tiny more than the edges. What made you change? On my old 986 boxster with softer springs I had to run more camber...

@steved0x, My car is also track first and foremost and on the streets to get to the track. Even though COTA is only 50 miles away, my preferred track, MSR Cresson, is about 190 miles one-way, so when I drive to the track, I'm putting on a lot of street miles. I also run RE-71R tires which are a bit softer than the RS4's. With the "Before" settings, I was getting extra wear on the inside of the tires, so we backed off a bit on camber in this alignment. My car also has pretty firm springs and doesn't roll a lot. Current wear is pretty even. The car will be going in for another alignment later this month and we'll see what settings we go with after looking at the tires and consulting with the shop (Soul Speed in Austin).

I also have to be very mindful of tire temps. Sometimes in the summer here in Texas, they can get up to 38 degrees hot. No bueno. I shoot for 34-35. I start at 28. I'm going to try starting at 26-27 and see what happens.
