Default 987.2 cayman owners manual

Wrecked my black 2012 cayman base recently. left much in the car I should have taken but did get the owners manual and associated paperwork, booklets, window sticker, etc. Would be glad to give them to someone if they want. Hate to throw away anything. Still have my 78 sc key.

Sorry you lost your baby. I have a black 12 base we got a little over a year ago with just over 9K miles on her. Love it. Was looking last night at sales figures for the 2012 Cayman, and there were only 462 sold in the US. Didn’t know they were that rare although there were only 2 for sale nationwide when we bought ours, and only 6 R’s for sale now. Plan on keeping ours for a long time. I have all the books and papers on ours. I have stuff from my 90 C4. Nice to keep some things from the past.

Out of curiosity, where did you find the sales figures?

I have the same figures. found mine at the same dealer each time. my 987 had exactly what I wanted, a pdk, 19" wheels, sport exhaust, bose. I like the 981 better (comfortable and handles like something else) but the 987 was special. take care of it. there are very few in na. (notice the dent where my head stays)

I just looked on Safari and it came up with a website called Goodcarbadcar.net. It had sales figures for all years. I also looked at European sales figures and they were about double for 2012.

Love your car! Makes me sad. The last of the go-kart feeling machines. Drive a 981 or 718 and you will see. they made the 981 longer and wider, handles better but loses that go kart feel . take care.
