Default My first mod......

Don't get excited, this was a $6.33 mod...... but it was money well spent. Can of flat black plasti dip

said to myself (and my wife ) when I got this car I wasn't going to touch it since it was the perfect spec(except it doesn't have the PSE ) and luckily and unknowingly it came with clear side markers and GTS tail lights that I discovered when I removed the tint from both...nice bonus and surprise!!

anyways, saw this on another site and decided to try it myself.....chrome delete the PORSCHE CAYMAN S on the back.

Best $6 I spent in a long time....and took less than an hour.

LOVE how it turned out....goes so much better with the look my car has.

Gonna do the Bimmer next....

Yes, I like white cars

That does look good. How'd you make the stencil?

thats the beauty of plasti dip....no stencil needed and if you don't like it just peel it off.

just masked off the area with blue painters tape, then add some more protection like newspaper to cover larger area for over spray protection like the pictures I added..... do a light coat, let dry, then repeat process like 7-8 coats....let dry then take off masking tape carefully... then simply peel off the plasti dit and the letters stay coated.... I'll link a you tube video for you

My '14 981 S was also white. To break it up a bit I replaced the lower bumper piece (white) with the black one from the base Cayman. That was its only mod. I thought it looked much better.

Look familiar, except I bought black letters for a bit more than $6.33

But it's similar to what I did on my c4s
