Default Steering wheel cover recommendation?

I have a 987.1. I find the steering wheel to be quite ‘thin’. Can anyone recommend a high quality / nice looking steering wheel wrap in order to thicken it up? (My interior is in sand beige). Thanks.

I felt that way at first but it was largely reaction to the super thick BMW sausage steering wheel rims. Now I like the feel of it quite a bit. I have thin leather driving gloves as well, which make it seem a bit thicker.

I had my 987.1 Cayman wheel re-wrapped by these guys in the UK:

http://royalsteeringwheels.com/

price was better than anyone in the US, and color match and workmanship were great. I had the wheel made thicker, and the “handles” added in at ~2:00 and 10:00 positions. They have a lot of examples in pictures on their site, check them out. Turn around time was about 2 weeks.

that looks very nice but I’d guess pricey. How much did it cost?

It was a couple years ago so things may have changed but i think it was around $230 USD that included shipping also. There is a place domestically in the US called Dallas Custom steering wheels I think also that does it but they were significantly more if I remember right. Look up Royal custom steering wheels over at planet-9.com also, a lot of people have done them and posted reviews and pictures there too.
