Default How to remove rear trim panels

I am replacing my rear and front suspension on an 06 Cayman S. The hardest part ironically is figuring out how to remove the rear trim piece that covers the rear speakers on either side behind the seats to access the spring mounting plate bolts. I have tried searching everywhere on how to do this. Any links that would be useful or anyone have this info? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it is the same but might be similar. On my 981 in order to remove that trim, I needed to remove the trim that covers the seat belt first. Than the is one screw underneath of the trim you try to remove. Remove the screw and slide the trim piece towards the front and up, that should do it. All other trim pieces are just plug and play with no other screws involved. Again, that how it is on the 981 and might be different.

If you click on the Installation Instructions link on this page it may be helpful - CMS PERFORMANCE BOLT-IN ROLL BAR. I believe they remove the panels you are asking about during installation. I had saved the link in case I ever decide to do something with the rear speakers, although I've never done it. Hope it helps.

It's kind of a pain in the ***, I just did on my 07, but the link that was posted above is what I followed to take my interior apart.
