Default Seat Wiring Question

I'm looking to update the base seats in my 981. If I install 4 Way or 18 Way Sport Plus seats, are they plug and play? To put it differently, is the seat movement function completely contained within the seat, with the plug supplying power only, or is the wiring to the seat different?

993Guy - I don't have a 100% solid answer for your but I did instal a set of LWBS in my Spyder, a 987.2, replacing the 4WSS. It was completely "plug and play". We just unbolted the hex bolts, unplugged the electrical hook up for the side air-bag etc... and bolted in the LWBS.

Porsches are generally very exchangeable with their parts. For example, people can add a 981 steering wheel, with a new air-bag to a 987.2.

Good luck!
