Default I added 981 P-O-R-S-C-H-E emblems to my 987 Boxster

I slapped some 981 "PORSCHE" emblems on the trunk of my 987. I am really liking the look.
Part numbers 98155923300 and 98155923701 which were ordered from Sonnen Porsche Parts for about $100 for both.
I used my own placement rather than track down a template, more or less eyeballed based on a photo of a Cayman.
I wanted the letters to be a touch higher on the trunk than the photo. I taped a straight line 4" up from each of the lower trunk corners. This was the base line for the PORSCHE letters.
Finding the center of the S, I placed that on top of the tape line at the center line of the trunk. I then placed each letter on the tape line exactly 1" of space on either side of the S, and continuing at 1" apart from the next letter. Everything was placed freehand and looks great even though it might be a few microns off in any direction.
The Boxster logo was also centered on the trunk at 1" below the PORSCHE letters, which was easy since my painter's tape was 1" wide. Once again, dead-nuts placement is not necessary so it went on freehand, eyeballing the center line and level.
I think it came out nice, what do you think?

I prefer the more subtle look but great execution!

Haha. No kidding.

Shouldn't it curve slightly like the "Boxster"? Great color.

Thanks.
I read up a bit on others's layouts and heard that matching the deck lid curve will make it look strange from behind. One in particular showed only a 1/8" dip in elevation from the center to the ends of the PORSCHE script. To me that was imperceptible from a straight line and not worth my time. My photos show some parralax wonkiness from the camera angle, but in person it looks fairly straight and natural. I don't care if it doesn't match a 981 trunk lid exactly.
This car is no concours candidate, but that flat silver scratched up "Boxster" emblem had to go.
Also, I am not sure if the Boxster logo is actually curved. It does look like it but I think just because some letters are larger than others. The top of the B and t are pretty much at the same height and the baseline of the logo is basically flat.
If I am off a bit, so be it. I dig it.
