Default Black OZ legerra 19x8.5f, 19x11r

Hello,

I have a 981 GTS and just bought a set of OZ Legerra wheels from a fellow member.
19x8.5 +45
19x11 +53

Planning to go as wide as possible on the tires. Has anyone run these wide tires without rubbing?

255/40 or 265/40
295/35 or 305/35

I will not be tracking the car with these setup. It will do mostly highway cruising.

Thanks,
Ray

.

You should be fine with that. The car will handle better on the factory sizing though.

You are going to probably need a 10mm spacer in the rear. A 265/40 front is really tall and even with added camber might not fit, not even getting into how pinched it would be on a 8.5” rim. If you decide to go the big tire route best to stick with 35 aspect ratio.

Thanks for chiming in Peter. The original tires that came with the car is 26.5" tall. I'll try to stay as close to it as possible. So here are my options:

255/35-19 = 26.0"
255/40-19 = 27.0"

or a step narrower tire at 245/40-19 = 26.7

As far as the back go, I maybe limited to just 285/35-19 because of availability. I'm putting all season on these (trying to stretch the driving season this year).

I would have no problem with the 255/35 front and 285/35 rear. I currently have 275/35 RE71R on 19x11 et 50 rear with a 7mm spacer to clear the toe link and strut.
