Default Siphoning oil for testing

I have a 09 Boxster. Plan to take an oil sample at the next change. Is it possible to siphon from the trunk oil fill to get a sample?

Not possible on these cars. You have to drain some from oil drain plug. Some cars have dipsticks you can use to vac some oil out (such as my A3), but the Cayman is not among them.

As above, pull sample mid-stream. Unavoidably messy but effective.
