Default 987.2 Engine compartment blower

Is it normal for the engine compartment blower on a 987.2 to run for 20 mins. or more after a ten mile drive in 60 degree weather I just purchased a 2012 Cayman R which is the first water cooled Porsche I have owned. I have driven the car twice about ten miles each time in 60 degree weather and when parked the engine compartment blower came on and ran continuously for 20 mins. At this point I was concerned it would run down the battery and restarted the car then shut it off and the fan went off.

My 987.2S runs sporadically, for different durations, and at different ambient temps.
Sometimes it doesn't come on even when expected - warm days and hard driving...

Yours seems to shut off by itself regardless?
Either way, 20 mins - or a few hours even - should not drain a healthy battery.

Yes the DFI motor runs very hot.

Get a 3rd/center radiator and a deep sump kit.
