My 2011 Cayman S that I bought a few weeks ago was originally a US car, so it had the speedometer in MPH. Being in Canada, I wanted to have it show KPH. (The digital readout is already set for that, but I wanted the analog gauge to match). I bought a new gauge faceplate from Heiler Tachodesign in Germany. There's a huge amount of options for colours. I just wanted a plain white one. Installation was pretty easy. I used a guide I found



. The final result looks OEM. Now it goes 300, not just 190!

Sam ting. Got really used to looking at the digital.

Odd thing compared to my other cars: On other cars, changing the cruise set speed shows up digitally on the dash. On the Cayman there is no indiction of the set speed, the digital shows the actual speed. Not really a problem, but just a little weird.

Anyone do the sport chrono swap? I consider swapping that.
