Are you implying the MA1 engine (987.2) is more prone to bore scoring?

All of the discussion and video's I've seen so far (re. bore scoring) appear to focus on the M96 and M97 (987.1) engines.
Giving me the impression the MA1 (987.2) engines have less risk of the bore scoring problem.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over scoring on the 9A1. It does happen, but nowhere near as much as the previous generation of engines.

As mentioned on some of the other scoring threads, using a better oil, reducing oil change intervals, and keeping the rpm down and your foot out of the throttle until the coolant is to operating temperature is a must and goes for all of our Porsche engines.
