I was -- and your 981 looks gorgeous in your avatar -- but then I saw this great looking, low-miles, clean 987.1 S in a great color combo and remembered how much I miss my 06 Box S that I sold in 2012. The look of 987's has aged well over the years. I remember thinking how much better 981 Boxster looked vs the 987 when it first came out but over time that diff has been shrinking in my eyes. I believe that 987.1 Boxsters may be the best sports car bargain in the world today, by far.

My mechanic also says the over-rev report is nothing to worry about. Sent a deposit before the PPI -- plan to pick it up late next week.

EDIT: Though things may change if they offer a 718 Spyder Touring with an auto-top. You never know.

I’m with you. As much as I like the design of the 718 the 987.2 will forever remain my gold standard for Porsche in terms of design. Kinda wish I’d waited for the perfect one to pop up instead of buying my 911.
