Would like to clarify where the options sticker is located on a 2008 Boxster. I thought they were always under the front hood near the latch but maybe wrong about that. Thanks for any info.

They stopped affixing those under the hood of the car after the 986/996 generation cars, I believe there was one generated but it was usually loose with all the other paperwork provided to the dealer, and the dealer would have had to given it to the original owner.

None of my previous/current 997C2S, 997TT, 987C, or 981 cars ever had it affixed

I've always looked it up via the VIN on a site like this.. has been accurate for me so far..

Just to be clear, your 2008 is a 987, so it would fall under this most recent policy.

The sticker on my 2006 Cayman S is attached to one of the first pages in the owner's manual maintenance booklet.
