I'm new here with a 2011 987.2 Boxster Spyder. I'm interested to know the date the car was built, month and year. Is there a sticker somewhere on the car that reports this? The older air-cooled cars had a sticker on driver side door jamb that listed VIN, etc. and month and year of the build. My Spyder's VIN shows 2011 as the manufacture year and the sticker on the underside of the rear deck lid "Vehicle Emission Control Information" states "conforms to regulations:" 2010 MY. The car's in-service date was June 2010. Thanks.

The date should be on the VIN Sticker on the door jamb as noted.

If you're curious just to know the month and year your car was made, that info should be on your door jam as Afshin indicated. My door jam sticker says:
MFD BY DR. ING H.C.F. PORSCHE AG 01/16
Note that a Certificate of Authenticity (now called Porsche Production Specifications, or PPS), which you can request from Porsche, will provide the "Production Completion Date" for your car, which includes the day, month, and year, so if you're interested in finding out the actual "birth date" for your car, this would be one way to go about it. PPS ordering info can be found here:

Interestingly, on my car there's a slight variation between the "Manufactured" date reflected on the door jam (January 2016) and the "Production Completion Date" reflected in the COA (December 18, 2015).

thanks MB and SJ, I found it, different location than my air-cooled '87 911 (door jamb/driver side/body, not the door itself) and my '89 951 (engine compartment/driver side/inside edge top of fender). My MNF date for the Spyder is April 2010.
